In April 2020 Ireland went into full 'Lockdown' in an attempt to control the spread of the Corona Virus.
Weddings and Family Portraits stopped. Movements were restricted to a radius of 2km from a person's home. I thought of a way to keep snapping, from a safe distance, and started a community Art project that soon exploded, in a very lovely way. The basic premise was simple: I called to the door of any and all participants (within my 2k radius), one shot represents 'normal' life and one shot represents 'Lockdown'. Participants had complete freedom of interpretation. Neither rules nor judgement. The results are below and they are quite beautiful.
